It was so lovely this morning reading the Newsletter and turned the page and saw my late grandads photo – Stanley Burrows MBE. This article discussed Mark Scott’s new book “We fought on D-Day” which features the war time experiences of some men from the Royal Ulster Rifles. My pops is very missed by all the family, but he will be looking down on the anniversary events for D-Day with a smile.
